Aloo Gosht in Karim's Style

Karim hotel's one of the best dish is Aloo Gosht, and this is our all time favourite from karim's ..:-)
Master chef Pankaj Bhadouria once showed the way how to make the famous Aloo Gosht in Karim's style....After watching the show, my hubby insists to make that at home the next sunday, so i tried and the outcome is just WOW, the taste, looks almost everything is similar to what we had at the famous restaurant..

So here i am sharing the recipes for all of you to try it out...:-)

Serves :- 4
Cooking Time :- 1hr

Ingredients :-

Ghee - 1 cup
Mutton - 1 Kg
Beaten Curd - 1 cup
Black Pepper - 1 tbsp
Cumin Powder - 1 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 2 tbsp
Small Cardamom - 9-10 
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Cloves - 10
Onion+Garlic+Ginger Paste - 2 tbsp
Fried Onions - 4 tbsp
Cut Potatoes - 2 Cups
(Cut in big sizes)
Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tbsp 
Few Ginger juliennes
Few Chopped Coriander Leaves

Method :-

Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed dish/handi.
Add mutton with curd and mix it till curd coats the mutton properly.
Then add black pepper,cardamom,cloves, cumin powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and onion+garlic+ginger paste with salt to taste. Mix them properly.
Cover with lid and cook for 5-10 mins.
Add  and mix fried onions, cut potatoes and garam masala powder.
Cook this for 45-50 min by covering the lid.
Garnish with few chopped coriander leaves and  few ginger juliennes.
Serve hot with rice/pulao/roti/paratha/chapati...enjoy..:-)
